Photographs are one of the most permanent keepsakes you will have of your special day. It’s imperative that you find a wedding photographer who is not only able to capture the mood, but also has a good energy when it comes to you and your groom.

Patrick Demarchelier, born near Paris in 1943, has lived in New York since 1975. As a fashion photographer, his work drew the attention of Elle, Marie Claire and 20 Ans magazine. He later worked for Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, first in September 1992 which resulted in a 12-year collaboration. Demarchelier has shot international advertising campaigns for Dior, Louis Vuitton, Celine, TAG Heuer, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Lacoste, Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren – and of course the beautiful bridal gowns Carrie wore in Sex And The City’s Vogue wedding gown shoot.

“When you’re a fashion photographer, you must inspire a dream, with Dior Haute Couture, the dream is already there.” – Patrick Demarchelier
